Progressive movement aimed at solving the problems that were prevalent in the society. Its main objective is to contribute profitably to the economy and control the production of machine made goods. It was a major movement that originated during the industrial growth in US economy.
It also aimed at lessening the gulf that existed between the elite and the impoverished and the existence of child labor. Many social reforms such as women equal rights and problems of industrialization are addressed during this movement.
